About me

A little bit about myself

Kia ora, nice to meet you! If you are reading this you are probably wanting to know a little about me. I live with my husband and two young boys in Otēpoti, NZ. I qualified as a Sign Language Interpreter at the end of 2010. I am also NAATI certified.

I consider myself having a wide range of experience working in various domains. I have a strong work ethic and I appreciate professionalism. I am a capable and confident interpreter who is just as comfortable working in front of hundreds as I am one on one. I am happy to drive as far north as Oamaru, as far west as Queenstown, as far south as Bluff and everything in between.

Why book a sign language interpreter directly?

Booking a sign language interpreter directly has many benefits. Below of some of the main reasons why individuals and organisations usually prefer to book a NZSL interpreter directly and not through an agency.

It's more cost effective

Booking an interpreter directly is much more cost effective than booking through an agency. Interpreters don't have overheads and extra expenses to pass onto the clients, so its always cheaper to book direct.

You'll receive an all inclusive quote

There are no hidden costs in my quotes. You'll receive a whole amount that covers travel, interpreting time, preparation time, and other subsistence required for the specific assignment.

Direct communication

Instead of waiting for an answer through an agency, you'll be able to directly communicate with the interpreter. This saves time and money. I am also happy to answer any questions you may have.
